Jo is a female funky punky drummer who is passionate about music and inspiring the next generation. She has spent years playing the gig circuits with various bands, recorded albums, and writes her own songs. So she has bags of experience to share with her students. She has been working with children for a long time so knows how to capture their attention and engage them in lessons.

Jo is a drummer with 20+ years experience as a musician and performer. She has also has 15+ years experience working with children, safeguarding trained with DBS.
Jo started up her own drum teaching business Darwen Drum Zone in 2024. This came out of a passion to invest in the next generation of drummers snd musicians and make some changes yo her work/life balance.
