Personal Description:
I am a professional artist/session musician. I am a graduate of the Birmingham Conservatoire Bmus (hons). I am one half of the guitar and singing duo Smith & and I have performed at high profile venues and festivals across the UK and Europe. I've toured with high profile acts such as Joan Armatrading, 10cc, Ralph McTell and Fairport Convention.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught guitar privately for nearly 20 years and I have also worked in secondary schools and music schools.
Tutoring Approach:
My lessons focus mainly on the individual student and what they want to achieve whilst pushing them forward by showing how music works. I can teach all styles of music including rock, blues, jazz, country, metal, acoustic as well as songwriting and music theory.
