Personal Description:

I am a full-time professional multi-genre DJ with guest mixes on KISS FM, radio plays on BBC Radio 1 and performances worldwide in venues including:

I specialise in dance music including Drum and Bass, Garage, 140, House and Techno but regularly DJ additional genres including pop and rock.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over a 8 years teaching experience encompassing a wide range of pupils of varied ages and abilities from beginner to experienced, from a wide variety of backgrounds.

I have built up a huge variety of techniques and teaching methods suitable for all ages and learning abilities, working to inspire and engage pupils while developing excellent mixing techniques, track selecting, creative transitions and beatmatching.

Tutoring Approach:

My main approach to DJing is that it should be fun and rewarding, and I encourage pupils to learn to mix using their own musical styles. I adapt my teaching to include tracks, techniques and transitions that they are passionate to learn and start from the ground upwards - establishing solid technique with beatmatching, Rekordbox preparation skills and mixing in key to allow pupils to start planning their own sets from day one!
