Personal Description:
I'm Jenny, a friendly and approachable violin and viola teacher. I studied for four years at the Royal College of Music in London and for two more years at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.
I love sharing music with everyone that I meet, so teaching is a great part of that!
Tutoring Experience:
I teach regular private instrumental and theory lessons and also support young musicians in 'Summer School' and 'Music School' settings. I have also worked musically one to one with older clients in community music settings.
Tutoring Approach:
I aim to make every lesson an enjoyable and beneficial experience for the learner, as I believe music can help develop social and mental skills as well as being a fun activity. I incorporate many different creative approaches (such as Dalcroze and Solfege) to inspire the same creativity in my students.
I love to get to know my students' learning styles and motivations to hep them achieve their goals.
