Information About Jamie - Liverpool teacher

Personal Description:

I am a private guitar and vocals one-on-one tutor, school music teacher, and professional musician with extensive experience in performance as a solo musician and as part of a band. I have a degree in Popular Music from the University of Liverpool and I currently travel to teach at the homes of my students' however also offer online lessons. I have experience in working with students off all ages and abilities.

Tutoring Experience:

Since graduating from the Univeristy of Liverpool with a degree in Popular Music I have been privately tutoring in guitar and vocals and I a music teacher at a primary school in Liverpool.

My degree in Popular Music has given me experience in most music genres imaginable, including rock, pop, jazz, classical and more as well as experience in songwriting and composition.

I have experience in teaching a number of different exam boards across guitar, singing, and music theory, including Rockschool and ABRSM.

Tutoring Approach:

I am very passionate about teaching guitar and vocals and I am eager to pass on my experience in order to help each student reach the very best of their abilities. Each lesson is different and will always be personalised to each individual student to cater to the specific needs. I strive to make each lesson as fun and engaging as possible whilst also creating a comfortable environment and proper structure to lessons to enable each student to improve and become a better musician on a weekly basis and help them achieve their goals.
