Personal Description:
Long time RGT Registered guitar tutor from West London with degrees from the Musician's Institute in Los Angeles and Middlesex University in London.
I have taught students from all around the world in guitar, bass guitar, ukulele and music theory for the last 10 years and am confident in a great range of styles.
I have performed professionally in Europe and the US over the last ten years and am still active as a member of a singer songwriter duo in North London.
Tutoring Experience:
I have worked as a private tutor for over 10 years throughout the UK and in the US. I currently work at a number of primary and secondary schools in London and the South East.
I have full DBS disclosure and a great deal of references from music services and schools including Dartford Grammar School.
I work with adult learners and many students of grade 8 standard and above.
Tutoring Approach:
First and foremost I believe learning music has to be enjoyable and I am committed to ensuring that the student is developing skills that will be useful throughout their own musical path.
When students have a specific style or genre in mind I am happy to engage this primarily as a way to introduce basic musical principles.
I have a 100 percent pass rate amongst students in ABRSM, Trinity, Rockschool and LCM exams.
