Personal Description:
I hold a BA in Music from the University of Southampton and am a professional actor/musician. The combination of some inspiring music teachers and the influence of my closest friends and family, many of whom are involved in education, have shaped me hugely as a tutor. I work closely with my pupils to help them achieve their musical goals, whether that be to learn the basics or pass an ABRSM music exam. I deliver lessons in piano, guitar, ukulele and singing.
Tutoring Experience:
I have over 10 years teaching experience in schools, clubs, workshops and with private tuition. My work has taken me from leading choirs, amateur dramatics groups, primary school children and GCSE/A level students all with one purpose - to enjoy making music.
Tutoring Approach:
I work with children day in, day out and have good rapport with my adult students. My teaching style is encouraging, positive, friendly and I look to get the best out of everyone.
