Personal Description:
I'm a young, dynamic musician classically/jazz trained, but experienced with many styles and genres.
Music Teacher at Westminster School and Eton College. I was 'Composer in Residence' at Eton and teacher of music at including prep for ABRSM exams, theory teaching. I am composition teacher at Westminster.
I work professionally as a composer, pianist (accompanist), jazz pianist, choral singer, saxophonist. I was chapel musician and a choral scholar at Cambridge University. I have conducted orchestras, choirs. I've also worked a lot with theatre.
I have excellent qualifications: a double first from Cambridge University (in Music) as well as an MMus from Rotterdam conservatoire. I've won several awards for my musical, compositional and academic work.
Fully DBS checked.
Happy to travel within a cycle of my area, will travel further afield but this will incur additional costs tbd.

Tutoring Experience:
Teacher of Composition at Westminster School. Students aged 14–18, including harmony/counterpoint, free composition, Edexcel A-Level.
Teacher of Music Technology at Kings College School, Wimbledon.
Teacher of Music at Eton College. This included theory, composition, piano, aural (for ABRSM) and accompanying: students age 13–18. iGCSE and pre-U.
Junior Royal College of Music dep. teacher (musicianship, keyboard, composition, theory, analysis etc.)
Work at higher level includes workshops and classes with conservatoire-level students.
I have experience with pupils of all ages and stages, from beginners through to advanced. Including adults and children. I have put many pupils through ABRSM exams, with good results including distinctions. I have also had several beginner pupils who simply want to learn the instrument to an enjoyable level and play with others. Teaching for NHS.
I am also available to tutor for GCSE/iGCSE/A-Level music exams.
