Tutoring Experience:
I've been teaching privately for many years now, and have been a visiting tutor at Sandbach Highschool for Girls for the past year. I teach pupils from ages 5 upwards and complete beginners to more advanced levels.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe it's important to have a teacher that's highly qualified in their instrument and also how to teach it most effectivly. I've studied on the pedagogical program at the Sibelius Academy in Finland under emminent pegagogue Rebekka Angervo, and on the 'Music and Education within the Community' course at the RNCM.
I love teaching all ages, and working out the best approach for each individual student. I believe learning should be enjoyable, and through improvisation, aural training and theory work I believe a mixture of all these elements help create a fun and engaging environment for students to learn in.

To start, Jack is a very pleasant young man. He also picked up the basic melody right away - a positive start, and early indication of his talents. He is easy to work with, and was flexible when changes were needed.
