Personal Description:
Guitarist and bass player with 20 years experience as a player/performer and 15 years as I teacher offering tuition for electric, acoustic, classical, bass and ukulele as well as music theory (including jazz), sight reading and transcription. All genres covered. All ages/abilities/backgrounds welcome. I studied Music Performance at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford where I received a distinction. My technical skill set is broad and can offer tuition for a variety of techniques.
Tutoring Experience:
I began teaching privately in 2007 and have been doing so ever since. In 2017, I joined The Rock Project, offering group music lessons to students aged 7 to 60. Having spent 2019 developing an online presence by displaying my technical skill sets via YouTube and Instagram, I have had numerous requests for video lessons to students overseas, as far afield as Oslo, Sydney and Los Angeles.
Tutoring Approach:
Can work to ABRSM and Rock School grades or to individual needs/preferences. Covering any style/genre.

Qualifications:
- GCSE music (A), Grade 8 bass guitar (Merit) Higher National Diploma in bass guitar (Distinction) Grade 5 classical theory (Merit). I am also currently working towards my BA degree in bass guitar and music theory.
