Personal Description:

I am a qualified music teacher in the heart of Hutton, Brentwood, Essex. **Removed By Admin** I have been teaching piano lessons to all ages for over 8 years with a 100% pass rate. I achieved ABRSM Piano Grade 8 with merit certification in 2008, leading on to a career in education. I am passionate about developing musicianship in my students and supporting them to make progress throughout their musical journey.

Tutoring Experience:

I have Qualified Teacher Status with an enhanced DBS check, having held responsibilities for safeguarding and motivating students in the classroom. I have experience teaching 1:1 piano lessons through work in schools, privately and music tuition services.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to music tuition starts with an introduction to music theory, especially for those who choose to proceed with examinations. By having a basic theoretical understanding this will support you to compose your own music as well as read sheet music.

However, it is the enjoyment of playing music that sparks an interest to learn, so it is just as important to learn music that you love. For me, it is a pleasure to teach and play songs from musicals including Disney and the stage.
