Personal Description:
I have always been passionate about creating and studying music. It is really exciting to have assimilated a wealth of knowledge and experience across a wide variety of genres that I can now share with others. Since moving to London in 2015 I have been teaching woodwinds regularly. My lessons are tailored to the students independent needs and I focus on developing well-rounded musicians in a fun and engaging manner.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching woodwinds regularly since moving to London in 2015, both in schools and privately. In addition to running ensembles and jazz workshops.
Tutoring Approach:
As music is such a personal journey, my priority as a facilitator is to discover what the student really wants to learn and find creative ways for them to practise within their preferred environment. This way the student is able to tackle the technical and theoretical issues that they may have, but in a scenario that is both interesting and enjoyable. Whether they want to gain a strong grasp of bebop language or tackle grades, we can work together to improve the students knowledge of and love for the fine details of music.
