Personal Description:
Hannah is a first class honours graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, spending her time performing, and teaching oboe, piano, recorder and music theory.
She regularly performs with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Academy of St Martin in the Fields, and other major orchestras in London and the rest of the UK.
Hannah is passionate about teaching, and has pupils both online and in person, aging from primary school to adults.
Tutoring Experience:
I have tutored oboe, piano, recorder and music theory for over 8 years.
My teaching experience has also included working for the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain, and leading workshops for the Purcell School of Music’s ‘Inspire’ scheme.
Tutoring Approach:
I find teaching very rewarding; I enjoy seeing progress in student’s playing, and also seeing that they are enjoying playing themselves. I believe that nurturing how they can practice on their own is essential in development, to find ways to make practice fun and useful. I currently teach students of all ages, and have resources to suit all ages and abilities!

She is enthusiastic, patient and extremely good at explaining how to play the oboe via zoom. It's early days but I am so pleased that I have found such an excellent tutor.
She has lovely manner.
