Personal Description:

Hello! I’m Hannah, a passionate musician, songwriter and dedicated music tutor with 20 years of experience performing/songwriting and 2 years working as a special needs teaching assistant in primary schools across London.

I specialise in beginner acoustic guitar and songwriting skills. I’ve had the pleasure of working with students of all ages and skill levels running two music clubs (songwriting and beginner acoustic guitar).

My journey in music began at a young age, and over the years, I've developed a deep love for not only playing music, but also sharing that knowledge with others.

I hold a first class BA Honours in Songwriting and have performed across London in numerous venues. I also have an official busking licence which I auditioned for years ago and I have recently been on BBC Radio London with two of my original songs.

My teaching style is dynamic, adaptable and above all enthusiastic! I believe that every student has a unique learning style, and I strive to make each lesson engaging, productive, and fun. I also have a very patient nature.

Tutoring Experience:

I have worked in primary schools, as a special needs teaching assistant and have taught small groups music clubs (as previously mentioned). I will be training to become a music teacher next year in secondary schools, so I am looking to gain some more teaching/tutoring experience!

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that music should be a joyful and rewarding experience for everyone, regardless of their level or background. My teaching style is student-centered, which means I tailor lessons to each individual's learning pace, interests, and goals. I have a contemporary approach and would love to join you on your journey into music! I am an enthusiastic teacher and music is my passion!

I will focus on your first steps into learning the acoustic guitar and we will explore music together.
