Information About Steve - Wetherby teacher

Personal Description:

Steve is a very well known professional musician who has worked with many 'name' bands and solo artistes over the past 30 years internationally. He has limited spaces due to other professional commitments and sincerely enjoys teaching the guitar! Whether you are an absolute beginner, or intermediate, give Steve a call to get you on the right track.

He is an extremely accomplished guitarist in many genres of music. He still tours with his own projects in between writing and teaching. Most importantly, a very nice person with lots of patience.

Tutoring Experience:

Steve has been teaching guitar for over 10 years. A member of the RGT and possesses Grade 5 Music Theory.
He is also a fully qualified hypnotherapist! Some of these skills come in handy to 'motivate' and help you plan your practice regimes.

He teaches from his home studio, easy parking and accessible by bus in the rural village of Spofforth, in between Harrogate and Wetherby.

Tutoring Approach:

Steve's approach is informal, patient with a huge wealth of experience to draw upon. Absolute beginners are most welcome. If you put the practice in, Steve will help you learn to play the guitar! Fun too! Backing tracks available for continued practice at home.

Steve prefers the 'one to one' method of teaching, it's not necessary to be able to read music to learn the guitar. However, Steve will teach you the basic 'rudiments of music' as you progress to give you a solid foundation to play the guitar! Most importantly, music first, theory later!
