Personal Description:
I am an experienced violinist and teacher, and have been working professionally for over ten years. I have a Bachelor of Music from Trinity Laban, and a Master of Arts from Gothenburg University. I lived in London for ten years and during that time regularly performed with various orchestras and ensembles, and in musicals.
Before I moved to London I was an active member of the Cardiff County and Vale of Glamorgan Music Service, and the National Youth Orchestra of Wales.
Tutoring Experience:
I have over ten years of teaching experience, from individual to classroom music. I have also run multiple ensembles while teaching in various schools in London and regularly arranged music for them and my students.
I have worked with the charity Music In Secondary School's Trust, and seen a hole cohort of students through the programme.
I am also experienced at teaching both online and in person and have an enhanced DBS check.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe that all music lessons should be fun, and tailored to the individual. For me, enjoyment is the key to learning an instrument, and I try to make lessons as enjoyable as possible.
