Information About Eve - Leeds teacher

Personal Description:

My personal approach to learning, playing and creating music is based around being openminded and inquisitive.

I received a First Class Honours in Jazz Performance at Leeds Conservatoire and love to play and teach lots of genre of music.

I began playing acoustic guitar over 12 years ago which was soon followed by picking up the electric guitar. I regularly gig with two bands I play in and can help support in performance areas as well in lessons.

Tutoring Experience:

-2 years experience guitar teaching at kid's weekend music school.
-4 years experience guitar teaching private students of all ages.
-1 year teaching part time as peripatetic guitar tutor in a primary school.

Tutoring Approach:

My top priority with a new student is always to understand what they want from learning the guitar and then to let that guide my approach to our lessons.

My experience of teaching has taught me a lot about adapting my teaching to match a student's preferred learning style.
