Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Erim

I am a hugely experienced multi instrumentalist, gigging musician and music producer currently as a full time professional musician with several bands. I am now also working as a freelance music producer professionally, working with a large client base and teaching several students how to run studio and record music correctly. I have been teaching for over 7 years now both in colleges and privately and am now looking to build up my priva**Contact Detail Removed**ssons particularly focusing on music technology guitar, bass and drums.

My musical experiences include playing festivals abroad and also several moderate sized UK festivals with bands such as Reef, Reverend and the Makers, Space, The Fratellis and Starsailor. I have won the accolade for best unsigned act in the UK and USA with my band MIND as voted for by Total Rock radio, have been credited for scoring a film on IMDB with more to come in the near future. I have also performed live on BBC radio several times and have been commissioned some compositional work for one of their local stations. Recently I have also featured in the Arturia Minibrute 2 advert where I am demoing their newest product in a short music video featuring one of my bands original songs.

I am an extremely friendly and enthusiastic teacher that has a real passion for music and bringing out the creativity in all my students. My focus in teaching is not only to develop theory, but to really allow my students to harness the creative tools and be able to create works of art that they are truly proud of.

As stated before I have access to my own recording studio, and as such lessons will be provided in this environment with some truly high end gear. Also recordings of some of the pieces created and played in the lesson are included within the lesson as i feel it is extremely important to be able to listen to yourself and hear the progress you have made throughout time as you develop your skills.

I truly believe I have a unique approach to teaching in that creativity and imagination are the key elements that will be developed. many tutors may be able to teach an instrument, but i will teach you how you instrument will be used in various different situations as you will be composing and creating your own music from the very start. Furthermore the access to a recording studio means you will have the unique opportunity to have your music recorded and resources taylor made to your needs and wishes. I believe that lessons are not about me as the tutor, but your journey as the learner, and I will facilitate and accommodate your needs to develop you into the musician you want to become.
