Personal Description:
Available for all ages and levels
I started learning to play the piano and being taught at the age of 7. I then took up various instruments - violin organ and keyboards.I am a versatile pianist and keyboard player and have played in various settings including weddings, receptions, funerals birthdays and other special events, church music and residential homes.
I am at present only able to offer lessons on-line from my home. Lessons in your home available (within travelling distance subject to lifting of Covid-19 restrictions
Tutoring Experience:
I have a CT-ABRSM qualification in teaching and Associated Board Grade 8 practical in Piano. 30 years of teaching experience - Students taught in preparation for Practical and Theory Examinations.
Tutoring Approach:
Sensitive to the students differing rates of learning the musical instrument. Always encourage and praise where new boundaries are broken through small or large success on the students part. I do believe that practice between lessons is essential to gain good progress and feel satisfied that you are getting the best out of your instrumental playing.
