Personal Description:
Hello! I am a Mezzo Soprano and singing teacher based in Glasgow. I studied Bachelor of Music at the The University of Glasgow (2014-2018), specialising in performance and I went on to study at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, graduating with Master of Music in Vocal Performance in July 2020. Since then I have been working as a freelance tutor and singing teacher.
Tutoring Experience:
I am at an early stage in my teaching career and have been teaching since early 2021. I teach a range of styles - classical, musical theatre, folk and pop - to all ages. Some students work towards grades whilst others attend lessons purely because of their love of singing. I have also completed the Essential Teaching Course with the Association of Teachers Of Singing.
Tutoring Approach:
I cater my lessons to what the student wants to do and their aims. For some students, this is working on their choir parts and learning new songs for pure enjoyment. For others, this is working towards a grade or specific performance. All my lessons are fun and informative.
