Information About Eliza - Bristol teacher

Personal Description:

Hello

I am a professional singer, vocal / piano / music theory / songwriting teacher from beginners level, music arranger, performer and session musician based in Bristol. I also run a choir, soul band, jazz duo and an a cappella group, as well as performing locally and at private events regularly throughout the year.

My mission is to help increase people's confidence and projection of voice/technique of playing. I am happy to work around the individual, for example, build up confidence to performance level, preparation for exams or even public speaking.

Please note that fees are £32.50 for 45 mins. I also have a teacher network covering other areas of teaching at different prices.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been playing piano for 23 years, singing and songwriting for 15. I achieved Grade 5 Theory, Grade 6 on the piano and a BA Hons Commercial Music Degree at Bath Spa University. I also attainted Distinction in Grade 8 Rock School Vocals. I have worked in bands and duos, also as a solo act. I perform regularly round Bristol.

Tutoring Approach:

Friendly, fun and relaxed approach. I encourage the individual to work to targets but also let them bring their own ideas to the table and go at a pace suited to them. I like people to feel like they can enjoy people and feel comfortable in order to increase their confidence.
