Personal Description:
An ambitious, articulate and enthusiastic teacher with experience in teaching different ages and skill levels from beginners to advanced. Particularly adept at teaching children and young students. Able to coach students towards taking examinations including music aptitude test for secondary school entry or other examinations board such as ABRSM. Uses an effective variety of specialist teaching techniques to make lessons fun and enjoyable.

From Xiaogeng (/5): My daughter was four and a half years old when she started piano classes with Elise. We’re both so glad I found Elise she’s a brilliant tutor for young children starting to learn and is very patient with my daughter. My daughter and I both like her very much. My daughter is now nearly six and although face to face teaching is not permitted because of the lockdown Elise is able to continue her tutoring online and this is working well. I’m very happy and would not hesitate to recommend Elise in the future.

We have initially discussed a few concerns when we first met, about my 8 year old and he’s ability to learn but you looked at him holistically and knew exactly how or where to begin with him. You taught him as a complete beginner, starting from theory to practical. I am very grateful for your calm and friendly nature. He has made wonderful progress in such a short time and that is based on your abilities alone. You are patient, kind and can only be described as a perfect piano teacher. Levi thrives on teachers like you so once again thank you.
I felt that Levi should put in words a little review of you as well;
1. She’s very kind.
2. She’s helpful.
3. She doesn’t shout.
4. She teachers me nice songs.
5. She gave nice colour pencils to help me draw my notes so I could learn them easily.
