Information About Edwin - High Wycombe teacher

Personal Description:

I have been teaching for over 40 years both privately and in institutions.

I received my audio technology qualifications at Gateway School of Music at Kingston University. I achieved a grade of Distinction.
I am a contributing writer for Sound On Sound magazine and have written many articles, created podcasts and video tutorials for both print magazines and online.

I am a Professional member of the Recording Academy. I am a Grammy Judge.

I have been a sound designer for Emu/Ensoniq, Roland and Akai and have created a number of software instruments and sample libraries.

I am fully versed in both mixing and production and sound design. I use a number of DAWs and industry standard plugins.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught council workshops for Southwark council, have taught at Global Entertainment and have conducted private tuition for over 40 years both one to one and via my educational websites Samplecraze and The Audio Production Hub.

I currently provide private via Zoom, Skype or on site.

I teach all ages: from beginner to advanced.

Tutoring Approach:

I am a firm believer in setting home projects, providing theory and application projects and guiding and mentoring the student from start to finish.
