Hello and welcome to my profile!
My name is Dominika and I have been playing violin and piano since I was five years old. I completed my studies at the Prague Conservatoire and received my degree in violin performance from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (graded excellent). I have been teaching music for 15 years.
During my studies I participated in numerous masterclasses across Europe - Lake District, UK; Weimar, Germany; Tignes, France; Litomysl, Czech Republic and Semmering, Austria. This experience provided me with a variety of perspectives on teaching and learning music.
I also hold a degree in Sociology from the University of Glasgow and MSc in IHRM from the University of Edinburgh.
Tutoring Experience:
I have 15 years of experience with teaching children and adults from beginners to advanced students.
I have been teaching privately, as well as at the International School of Music and Fine Arts in Prague and Montessori School Duhovka in Prague.
I studied pedagogy and violin methodology during my studies at the Prague Conservatoire.
Tutoring Approach:
I am passionate about teaching music and handing the knowledge over to my students.
I always aim to create an individual plan for each student based on their experience and expectations to fulfil their potential and bring them joy from playing music.
