Personal Description:
Hi! My name is David . I'm easy going with enthusiasm for music in all its forms. I am creative and have composed lots of pieces for a range of instruments, including voice.
I have two young daughters.
I enjoy discussion, problem solving and origami.
I am friendly, punctual, reliable and professional in my work.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been a teacher of piano, percussion and theory for 25 years. I have experience in teaching all ages and abilities both in schools and privately. I regularly perform in musicals, orchestras and bands which gives a broad range of musical styles and genres with which I am comfortable.
Tutoring Approach:
Music needs to be fun! Therefore, lessons are quite laid back and relaxed but this does not mean that I accept anything less than 100% commitment. I can prepare for ABRSM exams if desired. If not - then let's just enjoy the music.
