Personal Description:
I am trained in the Russian School of classical piano playing. I studied under Professor Ryszard Bakst who was a student of Heinrich Neuhaus at The Moscow Conservatory of Music ( world famous professor and author of The Art of Piano Playing (1958) . Through my professors I can trace my musical lineage to Tchaikovsky , Chopin , Liszt and so on.
I also studied with Professor Heather-Slade Lipkin whose students include Sir Stephen Hough among many others.
My teaching approach is traditional , intensive and based on expert knowledge in my field. I expect my students to practice regularly and possess self-discipline and a passion for classical repertoire. However , I am a patient and nurturing teacher , sensitive to the differences in personality between individuals.

I have a Royal College degree and over 25 years' piano teaching experience.
