Personal Description:

Hello fellow music lovers!

My name is Chris and I am a professional musician and teacher. I have been playing guitar for over 20 years, and working professionally in the industry for over 10 years.

I obtained a BA(Hons) Degree in Professional Music Performance, specialising in guitar at The Academy of Contemporary Music in 2012, have travelled the world playing music in luxury venues, and have gained vast amounts of invaluable experience along the way. From performing to recording, composing to lyric writing, rehearsing to teaching, I have learned from the very best and honed my skills to now pass on to you.

I have been in many bands over the years and have a particular passion for writing and performing original music. You can hear some of my more recent guitar work on **Removed By Admin**'s debut album, and my very own project, **Removed By Admin** for which I wrote and performed all the instruments and vocals. Both can be found on Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, iTunes etc.

I also have an Enhanced DBS and am a registered tutor with firsttutors.com.

Tutoring Experience:

I have years of experience working with The Rock Project, teaching guitar, band performance and music theory to ALL age groups - in one on one sessions, groups of 6 and workshops of 30+. Teaching the song of the week and including the technical and musical theory aspects required to play it - with a deep knowledge of how to execute these techniques in a live situation to create a show stopping performance!

From Blues to Metal and EVERYTHING in between, I break down the theory and technique, delivering it to you in a way that is manageable, engaging and enjoyable. Whether you're a beginner who has never even picked up a guitar before, looking to learn your first acoustic 3-chord-song, or a seasoned pro with tonnes of experience, seeking to improve on your theory and technique - I can get your playing to the next level.

Tutoring Approach:

I have a very fun and friendly approach to teaching. It's one thing having the knowledge and experience but it's another thing to be able to convey this information in a way that keeps the student entertained and passionate about what they are doing.

I am a strong believer of making the art of music exciting to learn, after all, we all want to learn music because we enjoy it! My lessons are tailored to suit your abilities and aspirations, keeping it light and laid back in the process.

I like to let you dictate the direction of the lessons, as this keeps you motivated and excited to learn about what interests you the most. However, I do have a fully structured, comprehensive course that I can set you on if you feel you need more regimented guidance.

So if you're feeling stuck and overwhelmed by **Contact Detail Removed** videos, not knowing what to work on, or even where to begin, then save yourself the time, stress and frustration, and allow me to help you make sense of the infinite mass of internet information.

Due to the rather unfortunate situation most of my lessons are held Online via Skype or Zoom. This does, however, allow for the lessons to be recorded for you to go over as many times as you wish, which has proved invaluable to all my students.
