Personal Description:

I am an experienced teacher of bassoon, clarinet and piano (beginners). I teach with bolton music service and have numerous private pupils.

I have recently graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with a distinction in their masters program. I achieved my undergraduate degree from Birmingham Conservatoire with a BMus (Hons) degree in Bassoon. My main instrument is bassoon however, I began as a clarinettist, which I studied from a young age. I have also studied piano for over 15 years.

I gave recently relocated to Kendal and have opportunities for new pupils to begin lessons.

Tutoring Experience:

I am an experienced music teacher and I'm currently a woodwind tutor with Bolton Music Service where I teach bassoon and also general woodwind. I also have many private pupils and am comfortable teaching all ages. I have experience teaching absolute beginners through to advanced (grade 8 +).

I have a full DBS (former CRB) check.

Tutoring Approach:

I aim to make each lesson enjoyable and help to give you the advice and help to progress. I will always suit the lesson to your needs, so whether you are looking for a teacher to help you through the ABRSM or Trinity graded exams or whether you are looking to learn on a more casual fun basis, I am more than happy to cater for all.
