Personal Description:

I am a professional musical theatre actress, having just finished playing Kate Monster in the UK Tour of Avenue Q. I originally trained in classical singing at Birmingham Conservatoire (First Class BMus Hons) and then went on to study Musical Theatre (Dist. MA, DipRAM) at The Royal Academy of Music. In 2017 I represented the Academy in the annual Spotlight Prize, becoming the first student to be awarded Best Stage Actor for a musical theatre piece.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 12 years teaching experience in both group and priva**Contact Detail Removed**ssons and am currently teaching singing at Stagecoach Theatre Arts Banbury on Saturdays. Prior to embarking on tour I was the regular singing teacher for Stagecoaches in Oxford Summertown, Cambridge and Cambourne. Through Stagecoach I was able to gain a teaching qualification with ADPA. I was also a peripatetic singing teacher at St. Mary's School, putting a vast amount of students through the ABRSM Vocal Grades.

Tutoring Approach:

My main areas of tuition lie in Musical Theatre and Classical Singing but I am also an experienced performance and audition coach. I can also cover music theory up to Grade V, if needed for exams or just for fun. Whether looking to work through exam grades or just have a good sing song I can guarantee you will come away from lessons with a spring in your step!

I have a full, clean driving licence and I am willing to travel to provide dynamic and vibrant lessons to students of all ages and abilities. I also provide online lessons for a discounted rate.
