Personal Description:
Casey has been recording, writing and teaching music since 1985. He studied at The Sydney Conservatorium of Music under the direction of Mr. Don Burrows and graduated in Jazz Studies. Since then he has been committed to perfecting his art through the mediums of improvised Jazz, classical ensembles, **Contact Detail Removed**vision and radio appearances and world music groups.
Having emigrated to the U.K. in 2004 Casey is performing as a Jazz soloist in and around Shropshire, Wales, Birmingham and London, impressing audiences with his scope and versatility. Casey is currently focusing on Quiver, his own fusion band of Jazz and Latino Funk and The Casey Quintet featuring the exceptional vocalist Laura Collins. Quiver's CD, Cous Cous was released in May 2007 on Rehab Records and features a selection of Casey's original compositions.
