Personal Description:

With 23 years of experience in Irish traditional music, I offer expert instruction in tin whistle and button accordion. I began my musical journey at the age of 6, coming from a musical family, and have been performing professionally since I was 12. From a young age I competed in Irish 'Fleadh' competitions, successfully qualifying to the All Ireland competitions and was placed 2nd in the tin whistle and flute competitions on 3 occasions which was an honour. My passion for music led me to study Music at university level, specialising in music Education and throughout my teenage years and early 20s, I was actively involved in various musical groups. I’ve been fortunate to perform in prestigious venues across Scotland, America, and Ireland, and when I moved to the UAE, I regularly performed with renowned Irish musician 'Paddyman' across the Middle East. A highlight of my career was being part of the 'Irish Music in the Movies' production on the world-famous QE2. I’m dedicated to sharing the rich heritage of Irish music with my students, helping them develop their skills and love for this unique art form.

Tutoring Experience:

As an experienced music tutor and co-founder of 'The **Removed By Admin**School of Music,' I have a strong background in teaching tin whistle, flute and button accordion. Alongside my sisters, I’ve had the privilege of guiding students of all ages through both group and private lessons, helping them develop their skills in Irish traditional music. In recent years, I’ve adapted to the growing demand for online music lessons, offering personalized instruction that caters to the needs of each student, no matter where they are. My approach is rooted in a passion for music and a commitment to nurturing each student's unique musical journey.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to music tuition is centered around patience, understanding, and personalized instruction. I believe in teaching at a pace that each student is comfortable with, ensuring that they feel confident and supported throughout their learning journey. I work closely with my students to set achievable goals, giving them a clear target to work towards, which helps to motivate and inspire progress. To aid in their practice at home, I provide detailed music notes and recorded audio, allowing them to reinforce what they've learned in lessons. My goal is to create a positive and encouraging environment where students can develop their musical skills and love for music at their own pace.
