Personal Description:
Guitarist, composer, music arranger and tutor with a vast experience and a sheer love for the guitar, music and teaching. I'm a performing musician having played with my own trio and as a solo-guitarist, extensively across the UK, running my own record label and publishing, and have produced 8 acclaimed albums, 1 live DVD and two music books, all with over 60 original tunes. I teach guitar and ukulele, and have a vast collection of all originally arranged teaching pieces, tunes and theory work, all interlaced and devised as complete and natural progression that actually work and equip you the student with knowledge, skills and understanding of how to play your instruments well, that is beyond your room. Also, I'm a very keen and skilful guitar/ukulele tech.
Tutoring Experience:
I'm a qualified tutor with over 20 years of experience in teaching guitar and music and have taught at two of the London's well known colleges, all levels of Guitar, Jazz Guitar and Jazz Guitar Ensemble, and privately 1 to 1.
I teach in person at my home, or by visiting your place, and online via Zoom or Skype.
Tutoring Approach:
For learning the music and how to play an instrument in a natural and artistic way, with passion and enthusiasm (and a healthy dose of humour and wit), and with an unmatched simplicity, clarity and right-to-the-point teaching material and delivery (and online lessons), I teach all levels of a broader/popular style of Guitar (and Ukulele) from beginners to advanced (including the music theory). The tunes/teaching pieces are all my original arrangements of well known and classics tunes that any aspiring player-to-be should learn to play. The styles I teach are: Popular music, Jazz, Latin, Folk, World music, Finger-style…
