Personal Description:

I am a married man, living in the Lincoln area. My work experience includes engineering and teaching. I am now retired and enjoy helping people learn new skills through tutoring.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over 15 years experience of home tutoring and have played guitar and bass for over 30 years! This includes live performance experience, playing with other musicians of all levels. I hold a PGCE teaching qualification and a current valid DBS certificate. I am self taught musically, but this has enabled me to gain experience in many styles, including blues,soul, rock and jazz.

Tutoring Approach:

I prefer a relaxed approach to learning, allowing the student to learn at a speed they are comfortable with. Depending on what level a student is at already(including beginners), I can tailor the lessons to suit their needs. One hour is the usual lesson length.
