Tutoring Experience:

I devote my time to ensure that my students acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to enable them to progress in their instrument. I have taught both children and adults for over 10 years, preparing them for exams or playing just for fun. I am a classically trained pianist and have taught privately and in mainstream schools. I now teach from my own home on a one-to-one basis.

Tutoring Approach:

I would encourage my students to take musical examinations as I believe exams are a fantastic way to monitor individual progress as well as experience the strong sense of achievement that passing an examination brings. I understand that some students prefer to learn in a less formal structure and environment which I am more than happy to accommodate too. My main aim is ensuring my lessons are productive and enjoyable, no matter what age you are.
