Information About Ben - Lichfield teacher

Personal Description:

My name is Ben and I am a 21 year old musician from Birmingham living in Manchester! I hold a Bachelors in Music from the University of Manchester - rated #1 music university in the UK 2020. I am based in Manchester and can travel around Greater Manchester. I am a pianist and composer and have performed in many public concert venues. Alongside this, I have also had many of my own compositions performed in public concerts in Manchester and Birmingham.

Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored GCSE and A-Level music in the past and have always improved my students' grades. Alongside this, I have two years of experience teaching in SEND environments for young peple aged 10-17. This involved not only music tuition, but also 1-2-1 sessions and general teaching assistant work.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to music tuition is always putting the students' needs first. I found my love for teaching through a teacher that pushed me to explore music in a way that stimulated me most, and I strive to emulate this as much as possible. The best way to learn is to enjoy what you are doing, and I aim to build a strong rapport with students so they feel comfortable discussing what makes their musical mind tick!
