Personal Description:

I'm a full time professional musician, who has been playing music for over 11 years. To hear my bass playing style, you can listen to the numerous original projects I play in! I'm in Sylvette, Ollie West and the Wildflowers, Lakshmi and That Old Quiet Lighthouse - check us out to hear what I can do. Having worked through the pandemic in care, I've definitely discovered the joy of supporting people to achieve goals, big or small - and I will be taking this joy in the success of others forwards into my teaching career.

Tutoring Experience:

I've taught numerous private students over the past few years, and have a strong grasp of how to teach various skill levels, and help them reach their full potential! Having received high level tuition for 4 years at the Royal Northern College of Music, I understand both teacher and student roles comprehensively. and know how to help a student get the most out of their lessons.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach is entirely individual! First and foremost will always be figuring out what it is my students want from music, and how best to help develop their artistic identity. To me music is more than song-learning, it's an extension of who you are, and a greater understanding of how to express yourself through music is a greater understanding of yourself. Finding my students favourite artists, and familiarising myself with their styles and finding the best way to incorporate this into lessons will be high up on my agenda, as well as ensuring technique is developed safely and efficiently alongside my students work ethic. Music is a lifelong journey, and I look forward to discovering more about it through the unique lens' of my students!
