Personal Description:
I am married with two grown up children. I am a professional musician and have been playin the piano and flute for over 35 years. I am CRB checked.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching for over 15 years. I have taught all ages from 6 years old to 86 years old (it’s never too late to learn!). I have also taught pupils who have required different approaches depending on their needs. For example, I gave two students with autism who do not learn by conventional methods.
Tutoring Approach:
First and foremost, music and lessons should be enjoyable. I recognise that no two students are alike and different methods may be required. I encourage pupils to think for themselves and understand why and how music is put together rather than just giving them answers!
