Personal Description:
I'm a friendly and experienced music tutor teaching piano, guitar and saxophone.
I also teach improvisation, composition, music production and music theory and can incorporate this into lessons.
I also work as a performer, composer and music therapist.
Tutoring Experience:
Fifteen years as a instrumental tutor.
Five years as a school and college music teacher (PGCE trained) across the age range from primary up to college.

Anna is set up for teaching on zoom with music related apps which allow her to show me and demonstrate during our lesson. I highly recommend her.

From Richard (/5): 2 lessons in and very impressed with a friendly but purposeful approach where the whole ambit of guitar paying gets put across calmly at the start then we can start to pick our way gradually through it. Especially impressed with on line zoom techniques. Anna has it all covered.

From George (/5): A capable teacher with an excellent approach to teaching. Anna tried to tie in teaching with the music that appealed to me. She even encouraged me to consider studying for my grade 1 exams in the future—please bear in mind that I was a retiree who wanted to learn for fun. Anna thus saw the potential in me that I was ignorant of. Her enthusiasm is infectious.
With the current COVID restrictions one-to-one lessons are hard to come by. All lessons were thus via Zoom.
If you don’t mind online lessons then you will find in Anna a competent teacher. I have no hesitation in stating that she’s a great teacher bubbling over with enthusiasm

From Maggie (/5): I have had three lessons with Anna and found her to be very friendly and professional. Anna has been very patient with my attempts to play the saxophone. She has made lessons interesting and I have enjoyed trying to play familiar tunes. Anna is an excellent teacher and I have learnt far more than anticipated at this stage.
