Information About Angus - Woking teacher

Personal Description:

I'm Angus, a recently graduated in both a BMus and Masters at Cardiff University. A composer and arranger by training, I've been playing guitar for over a decade. My lessons offer both acoustic and electric from beginner to advanced. I cover a range of genres: Rock, Blues, Jazz, Funk and Finger style. All lessons take place in a studio at my parents home. In addition, I'm DBS certified.

Tutoring Experience:

I have only recently started teaching, but supported young students whilst at school and as a key member in the school Big Band.

Tutoring Approach:

In order for students to put in the time and practice it is imperative that they remain interested and not get bored. My approach is to help them to achieve their music goals by teaching at a pace that works for them, making it interesting and allowing them to see results quickly.
I was lucky to have some inspirational teachers that helped to nurture my ability whilst remaining patient recognising my particular learning needs.
