Personal Description:

Musician of 30 years, experienced in composing, performing and recording guitar, bass and drums in various forms and styles such as rock, pop, metal and jazz. I have played in various groups in the UK, Europe and beyond.

I have taught for over a decade, individually or in group settings, to all ages and abilities.

Tutoring Approach:

I first got into teaching as I am looking to pass on the torch to a new generation by giving the benefit of my experience and knowledge. I have since found that teaching can be just as rewarding as learning, and my passion and enthusiasm for the subjects I teach still burn just as brightly as when I started.

Can teach in a variety of forms, be it one-to-one or a class, at my home or yours, face-to-face or online. I can give lessons to beginner, intermediate and advanced players covering music theory, physical technique (speed, economy of motion and stamina) and compositional techniques that you will find useful in creating your own music as well as understanding the repertoire you can play.
