Originally from Scotland I now work as a freelance musician and educator in London. I work at some of the finest schools in the country as a instrumental teacher and continue to perform internationally as a musician.

From Philippa (/5): You have a good manner with teenagers which develops into a great rapport. As a result they want to try harder and make progress and they even do some practice!
From Stuart (/5): Andrew is an excellent tutor. He paces the session to my ability, is realistic with his feedback which I appreciate and will emphasise where I need to practice. We always picked pieces of music that I recognised and Andrew made sure that each piece stretched my capability further than the last. In a short period of time I went from complete novice to someone with confidence to try out Grade 3 music with my daughters. Thank you Andrew.

He has a relaxed manner and approach which suits my son perfectly as the last thing he needs after a demanding day at school is someone who is demanding and stressful.
