Personal Description:
I live in Beverley with my 17 year old son and work from home teaching music and languages. Apart from playing piano and teachIng I spend my time cooking, reading, going to the cinema and of course arguing with my son…
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught piano, keyboard and theory since the 1990s and although I have taught many children over the years I tend to now specialise in adult learners whether total beginners, intermediate or advanced. I have adult pupils who have come to me never having played before and unable to read music who are now on Grade 4!
Tutoring Approach:
My primary focus is on enjoyment and relaxation. I am happy teaching any style of music whether classical, jazz, folk or pop. If you’d like to take exams we will do that but if not that’s fine as many pupils just prefer to play for fun.
