Information About Alicja - Harrow teacher

Personal Description:

My name is Alicja, I am a musician and music teacher with an absolute passion for the matters! I taught at the Purcell School, the London Russian Music Academy and the Dan Tien school. I've got a degree in teaching Academic Music and Orchestral Conducting. I have graduated from Academy of Music in Poznan, Poland; I also studied in Hochschule Luzern in Switzerland. I find that the greatest joy in life comes from making, practising, listening to, and teaching music. I started my music adventure when I was 6 years old and I want to do it forever!

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching music theory and aural for 13 years now, I started by being recommended as a tutor by one of my teachers to a younger student. Recently I have been working as Musician-in-residence at the Purcell School where among my duties I was preparing students for the grade 5 music theory exam. I also work for the London Russian Music Academy where I teach music theory, solfeggio and aural.

Tutoring Approach:

I love seeing the sparkle in the eyes of my students when they come to understand the subject. Exams? Frear no more!
