Personal Description:

I am a music enthusiast. I strongly believe that everybody can play piano & enjoy singing regardless what age you are.

Tutoring Experience:

I am a fully qualified teacher registered with the ABRSM (Associated Board of Royal School of Music) for 20+ year, teaching one to one piano and singing lessons.

I teach Pop, Jazz & classical in piano and in singing. I also teach Music Theory - beginners to advance (ABRSM Grade 8 Theory). I've had pupils pass their ABRSM exams with fantastic results - Distinction and Merit, not to mention others with 100% passing rate! I have enrolled two of my students for Grade 7 Singing and Piano for ABRSM board in year 2023 Spring term, both passed with Distinction.

I've accompanied my singing students for their exams since 1999. I also accompanied children's school play, musical night show and ballet exams in the past.

I have been a worship leader in the church of England more than 10 years. I am also currently performing regularly for gigs. I can teach you to play and sing songs from the popular choice of songs including worship songs, top charts and Jazz.

I am CRB checked.

I enjoy working with pupils to maximise their potential and help them to achieve over and above their expectations.

Lessons are always fun and friendly - you choose how you want to learn and I always tailor the lesson individually.

Covid-19 and lessons (Updated Sept 2022)

I am now back to teaching face-to-face. Please do not come for lesson if you or your family members or you have been close contact to people that has Covid or have any symptoms of Covid, especially coughs, please inform me for re-schedule lesson.

However, I am still able to teach on Skype, Facetime, Zoom **E-mail Address Removed**Hangouts (my preferred medium is Skype). If you wish to take advantage of this, you will need a computer, laptop or smart phone (with camera and microphone included or attached separately). All you need to do is sign up to Skype (or Facetime if you have an Apple device) and send me an invitation. If you live in a remote area with limited reception, or if your piano is far from your modem or router, please let me know as there may be problems with online teaching. You may have to wait until this is over and we are able to leave our homes again.

I know some of you are actually enjoying having more time to practise!
