Personal Description:
I am a professional classical musician, graduated with a Masters Degree in Music from the Royal College of Music London and Bachelors Degree from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. I enjoy performing as much as I enjoy teaching. I am of Ukrainian origin, having permanently lived in the UK for over 20 years.
Tutoring Experience:
I have over 10 years succesful teaching experience in the UK, where students have passed ABRSM grade exams and I have also enjoyed working as a professional performer for almost 20 years, in UK and abroad, giving me a varied and open minded experience and approach to teaching and learning.
Tutoring Approach:
I aim to bring the best in my students, and make them enjoy the whole process of learning an instrument, not just the results, and supplement it all well with music theory, integrated into lessons. As much as I really enjoy exploring practical solutions, I also enjoy supplementing theory background so that the student is equipped with ease to progress further.
