Personal Description:
As a child the first instrument I learnt was the piano, which game me a solid background to learning the flute. Early in High School I achieved my grade 8 whilst always playing in various groups. I went on to study flute performance at the Birmingham Conservatoire and graduated with a 2:1. During my time at music college I played in various competitions with many different orchestras, including performing a concerto.
Tutoring Experience:
Whilst I was at music college I began teaching music to a small number of students. However I then went on to teach secondary Mathematics. I have been a Mathematics teacher for 8 years, developing a wealth of teaching experience that can be applied in various scenarios.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach will be very similar to what I experienced from my tutors. I will always adapt to the needs of each individual and share a variety of different ideas to support.
