Personal Description:
I enjoy teaching children and adults of all abilities. I studied music at The University of Exeter (BA Hons) and then later went on to complete my CT ABRSM and PGCE in Primary Education and therefore I have Quality Teacher Status. I have enjoyed music from early childhood and carried this on throughout my time at school and into adult life.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching music privately for at least 20 years in between studying at University and working as a primary school teacher.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe music lessons should be fun and all students should feel that they have learnt something new each time. Learning an instrument is a fantastic experience which brings much enjoyment. I am happy to enter students for examinations through the ABRSM but also happy to give lessons without the examinations.
