Tutoring Experience:
Aaron has taken on various forms of teaching roles across many applications. As a freelance musician, Aaron has taken on role as musical director for numerous ensembles, spanning across many ages, abilities, genres and environments as well as possessing ample experience acting as section leader.
Also working as a professional recording engineer at London's leading recording studios, on location and acting as 'in-house' engineer for concert venues, Aaron has successfully run, recorded, produced and composed for a wide variety of high profile clients, world-leading professional session musicians and broadcasting bodies.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach is very open and I am strongly guided by the clients perspective/musical taste and ambitions. However The fundamental techniques are the building blocks to creativity, so I believe that developing a strong foundation is vital in order to fully explore the instrument. However, having gone through the same process twice already, I am apathetic to the boring necessity it can sometimes appear to be. Therefore a creative, more passive strategy to developing these core constructs are always favoured, since, acknowledging the bigger picture, playing your instrument should be fun! So I do not have a fixed strategy, as you can not paint every student with the same brush. However, I will always try to encourage development, creativity, individualism, and hopefully form the path to a future career in music.

My first introductory lesson was superb. I think I am beginning to love it. The journey to
mastering my Trumpet playing has started and I believe something worthwhile would be achieved
within the anticipated target. With helpful hints from my tutor, I am very grateful.
