Personal Description:

What can i say about me. I have been playing the accordion for the last 23 years. I have competed in local area, national and international competitions. I have been teaching for the last 7 years and have had many pupils successfully pass exams and compete in competitions, many winning their sections. I am now an adjudicator for Nao and local music festivals.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching part time for a number of years now. But after deciding the accordion needs reviving in the south of england, i decided to give up my day job and throw myself into teaching.

I teach all ages, standards, genres and personalities.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to teaching is that i listen to my pupils. To what they want to learn, and what they want to get out of lessons. I have a passion for playing, and for teaching. I am sure my pupils will say that my enthusiasm rubs off on others too.

From Gary (5/5): Excellent tuition so far using the medium of Zoom conferencing to teach which is a huge benefit due to the current climate.

Open and easy communication and a teacher who makes you feel comfortable, engaged, challenged and supported. Could not recommend highly enough.

From David (1/5): Having given all details, Samantha expressed willingness to start teaching me the accordion. She has failed to even give me one lesson and is clearly not at all organised. She did refer me to a colleague that has also proved totally unreliable.

Reply from: Samantha: David i am sorry to hear that you havent heard from anna. As i explained. I have moved to Somerset and i no longer teach in ringwood other than orchestra.

I cannot speak ok annas behalf but i was not aware that she had not contacted you. Due to my husband having had exstensive cancer treatment this year i have not taken on any New students.

I would like to resolve this for you. I can either sort out for you to come here for lessons, or i can nudge anna to get i contact?
