Gemma is a very engaging and fun teacher with a vast knowledge of Spanish culture as well as the language. In a relatively short space of time, my ability in reading, writing, listening to and speaking Spanish has increased significantly and I feel much more confident about the prospect of using the language when on holiday. Gemma's lessons are always well crafted and very practical as well as highly enjoyable. Her lessons push me and give me the confidence to speak Spanish effectively, even when I don't believe in myself. I've really enjoyed my first 6 weeks of French lessons with Gemma. Gemma tries to be as flexible as possible with the timing of our weekly lessons, so i can fit in lessons around my other commitments - she arranged a catch up session when my work commitments meant that I was unable to make a lesson in a particular week. Gemma mixes up the format of lessons, using a variety of different lessons and learning styles. This keeps me interested and allows me to figure out how i learn best. Gemma is also always happy to answer my (many!) questions. Perhaps most importantly, the lessons are fun and Gemma is good at keeping me motivated.

Gustavo is an excellent tutor and has guided me from my first steps in Spanish. I have progressed much further then I ever expected and am eager to carry on learning. I think that a major advantage of Gustavo is that he is a native Columbian and offers and insight to Latin American Spanish. However, he has lived in Spain for a number of years and so provides a balanced approach. Best wishes if you want to learn Spanish.

Tatiana responded promptly to my initial enquiry about Russian lessons and has been an excellent tutor to deal with. She has communicated well, and I have been really impressed with the speed and ease of setting up lessons for my son. He is really enjoying the lessons and finds Tatiana very approachable, hard working and says she is very good teacher, he is certainly picking up Russian fast.

Francois has dealt very well with two people who thought they were speaking acceptable French and getting by quite well! Taking us back to some of the basics while listening and correcting us was absolutely the right thing to do. Weekly lessons have no doubt improved our speaking and understanding, and made us very aware of our specific needs in improving our skills. Learning with Francois has so far been extremely enjoyable, good humoured, and also quite taxing.
